To celebrate the 10th anniversary of T-Shirt Day Design we headed down to the Design Museum in London to pick the brains of a couple of experts, and get to the bottom of what makes a great band t-shirt.

We spoke to Museum Director Deyan Sudjic and Designer Sebastian Conran, who not only lived with The Clash鈥檚 frontman Joe Stummer, but also designed the band鈥檚 t-shirts as they were starting out.

They talked to us about the history of the t-shirt, the DIY approach to t-shirt design and the success of modern band t-shirts.
