How a near-death experience inspired a marathon
Marathons have become a common event in cities across the world.
Runners take to the start line for many different reasons - whether it be to win, beat their personal best or to raise money for charity.
But there is one marathon that has become a symbol of peace in an ever divided country - the Beirut marathon in Lebanon.
May El Khalil founded the race, after she was involved in a serious accident whilst running.
