Maidenhead United: Lock disappointed by early goals
The Magpies coach Sam Lock rues conceding early goals in heavy a defeat to Gateshead.
Maidenhead conceded two goals in the opening eight minutes in an eventual 3-0 defeat at home in the National League.
"Going two nil down in eight minutes in this league is not an easy task for any side," Lock told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "We're just disappointed in ourselves.
"I do think we flattered them in the way we performed and made them look better than what they were."
And Lock told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams that the side need to try and isolate this result, and not let it impact on their future games.
"One win in this league and you're looking at the top six, one defeat in this league and you're looking at the bottom six.
"We need to be looking up rather than down."
