Punishment attacks: The new victims of an old problem

They're a legacy of decades of conflict in Northern Ireland - so-called 'punishment' attacks by paramilitaries, usually kneecappings or serious beatings using anything from an iron bar to an electric drill.

Now, they're on the rise again and almost half of those targeted are aged 25 or under.

Those responsible claim it's a way of clamping down on crime and anti-social behaviour in their communities.

Greg Dawson's report is at times graphic.
