Reading FC: Jaakkola delighted to get first league start
The Royals back-up goalkeeper deputised for Vito Mannone in a 2-2 draw with Bolton.
The appearance was Anssi Jaakkola's first for Reading in the league since joining the club in the summer of 2016.
"It's been a long wait," Jaakkola told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "It's been almost a year and a half since I joined the club.
"It was nice to make my debut in the league.
After a game like this it feels like one point won."
And Jaakkola admits you have to be psychologically strong when sitting on the bench week in, week out.
"It's difficult place to be sometimes because you want to play always.
"You feel kind of, an outsider sometimes because you can't enjoy the wins as much as you should."
