How Ans Botha revolutionised Wayde van Niekerk's career
The 2017 IAAF awards took place in Monaco to recognise the success of athletes around the world.
Ans Botha, who coaches the 400m world champion and world record holder, South Africa's Wayde van Niekerk, received the prestigious "Coaching Achievement Award".
Botha is a former athlete who competed in the sprints and long jump for Namibia, before starting a career in coaching in the late 1960's.
Before picking up the award, the 76 year old spoke to Sportsworld's Athletics commentator Ed Harry and explained how she began working with Van Niekirk.
