Axolotl verges on extinction in the wild
Though pet owners keep them in their thousands around the world, axolotls are critically in danger of extinction in their natural habitat. It鈥檚 a paradox without an easy solution and Professor Richard Griffiths of the University of Kent, UK, explains why we can鈥檛 just set captive-bred axolotls free.
