Cricket club recieves Queens Award for Voluntary Service
Mount Cricket Club, which is based in West Yorkshire, has received the Queens Award for Voluntary Service. The award is the MBE for volunteer groups. The cricket club has been involved in a number of multi-faith projects since it was formed in 1976. One of which was taking a team of cricketers to the Vatican to play in an interfaith match in Rome in 2015. Abdul Ravat is the Club's Development Manager and Aasiyah Hassan is a Development worker. They speak about how the club works with the local community, particularly women and young girls, in the following interview with 大象传媒 presenter Ambreen Pervaiz
