Terry Waite recounts his time held captive in Lebanon
Former hostage Terry Waite talks about his time being held captive in Lebanon, and how the experience changed his life.
Terry Waite, former hostage:
"Looking back I believe it has been in many respects, extraordinarily helpful. It has enabled me to take a more realistic of myself.
"If you dwell or become too depressed by the dark side, you learn slowly to balance yourself a little more inwardly. I'm enormously grateful for that because it enabled me to explore a more creative side in myself I didn't know I had.
"There we positive things that emanated from it."
