Charlie Brooker鈥檚 acclaimed Netflix series imagines frightening visions of the future that new technology is leading us towards. Season four鈥檚 Jodie Foster directed episode 鈥楢rkangel鈥� delves into the role of parental control and surveillance in children鈥檚 lives.

Speaking to 5 live about her episode Foster said that the story spoke to her because 鈥渁s a mother of two boys I think about this a lot, about the idea of wanting to keep our children safe, wanting to use any means necessary.鈥�

Black Mirror season 4 is available to stream on Netflix from December 29th.
