Good Morning Scotland regular contributor Peter Geoghegan recently visited Beiruit for a conference on digital media and press freedom.
While he was in the Lebanese capital, Peter spoke to several journalists in both print and broadcasting about working in what is a notoriously difficult environment; but also visited a camp for Palestinian refugees and saw something of everyday life in a nation which has been riven by sectarian and political conflict for decades.
