Police were called to calm down angry parents at a primary school in Ely, Cardiff, on Tuesday morning, after the headteacher allegedly slammed their children for being "rubbish" in the Christmas play.
The school refutes the claim, but 30 parents turned up to complain and a second showing was cancelled.

A Cardiff council spokesperson said:
"Some parents have alleged that, following the Christmas concert on Monday, pupils were spoken to in an inappropriate manner. The school refutes this. If any parent has a complaint, we would expect them to use the appropriate channels to raise their concerns through the school's complaints procedure."
