I was trapped in a sweatshop in an LA suburb
On August 2, 1995, authorities raided an apartment complex near Los Angeles, and found 72 Thai workers living in virtual slavery while making clothing. This case led to more public awareness and stricter regulations, changing the garment industry forever. Reporter Jasmine Garsd spoke to Rotchana Sussman, one of the women trapped in that apartment complex, about how she ended up there.
