Patrice Nganang has been released from detention
Patrice Nganang, a university professor originally from Cameroon but now living in the United States, who was detained last month after writing an article criticising the government crackdown in English-speaking parts of the country has been released.
He was stopped as he was about to board a flight out of the country and accused of threatening the president. He says the charges against him were politically motivated.
He is now back in America from where he told us about his experience.
