Reading FC: Stam praises hardworking Stevenage after goalless draw
Reading boss Jaap Stam says his side struggled with Stevenage's direct style of play as they drew 0-0 in the Third Round of the FA Cup.
Jaap Stam, Reading F.C Manager:
"It was a tough game, but that is what we knew when they came over here - we've seen them play and we knew their set up... second balls when they won those they were quite direct.
"It was very important for us not to concede.
"Today the opposition worked very hard, and I'm sure they can make it very difficult for a lot of teams."
