The men transforming Ladybird books for Grown Ups
大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker chatted to Joel Morris and Jason Hazeley, the men writing ladybird books for adults including titles like 'The Sickie' and 'The Midlife Crisis.'
But of all the books they've written, which were their favourite?
Jason Hazeley and Joel Morris:
"My favourite is the Hipster, because it is just so silly, and it was the first one so it was just written with absolute glee. But I must admit I find some of the darker gloomier books good, like Boxing Day, which is about being fed up with your family.
"The last set we did for Christmas too, we did picture books for grown ups.
"The first lot we wrote in the Royal Festival Hall in London, then we got a royalty cheque so we could finally hire an office - after years of doing it [writing in public buildings] we know were all the plugs are!"
