Reading FC: Hull point 'important' to Stam
The Reading manager Jaap Stam was happy to walk away from Hull City with a point.
It means The Royals are now without a win in eight games in all competitions.
"It's always good to have a point away from home," Stam told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "We need the points, they need them as well.
"We also knew we were going to be facing a good team, a big club, so it's not going to be easy."
And Stam says it is frustrating to lose midfielder John Swift to injury yet again.
"In training sessions we save him, we're not always putting him in the full training sessions.
"We went to the hospital as well to look at...his body and what might cause it.
"He looked very good and very fit...for some reason it happens."
