The co-founder of the Nevisport chain of mountaineering shops, and currently chairman of the Nevis Range Mountain Experience, Ian Sykes has lived since the 70s in Fort William. His autobiography, In the Shadow of Ben Nevis, details a life full of incident and adventure.
