Former US diplomat lashes out at Aung San Suu Kyi
Bill Richardson, a former US diplomat and long-time friend of Aung San Suu Kyi, tells Newshour's Tim Franks that Myanmar's leader has changed since taking office two years ago. He said Ms Suu Kyi, who was awarded the Nobel peace prize in 1991, was once a bastion of human rights but now acted like a politician. Mr Richardson has just left a post on a panel charged with improving the lives of Myanmar's Rohingya Muslims.
