As some male 大象传媒 presenters agree to accept a pay cut, the Labour MP joined Dot to discuss the issue.

At the time of writing, 大象传媒 News presenters Nicky Campbell, Jeremy Vine, John Humphrys, Jon Sopel and Huw Edwards have agreed to take a pay cut.

The announcement follows Carrie Gracie's resignation from her post as 大象传媒 China editor in protest at what she described as unequal pay between male and female international editors. An independent audit into equal pay at the 大象传媒 will be published next week.

Jo Stevens, Labour MP for Cardiff Central, joined the programme to discuss her views on the issue and the wider context of unequal pay in the workplace.
