Reading FC: Stam reacts to FA Cup Fourth Round exit
Speaking to 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor, the Reading manager Jaap Stam confirmed it wasn't easy to watch his side crash out the FA Cup and his side need to be better in front of goal.
Reading lost 3-1 away to Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough in the 4th round of the competition.
Jaap Stam, Reading Manager:
"I think at times we played quite well, and we opportunities to score ourselves. Then we lose a goal, it was a bit silly... before every goal they scored we could have do so.
"You always need to anticipate the situation.
"If you are scoring it works, but you need to do a lot better.
"You can say we need to defend these goals better... you need to score that goal, and it obviously isn't deliberate that they miss it."
