Maidenhead United: Devonshire delighted by ruthless display
The Magpies boss Alan Devonshire was pleased with his side in their win against Chester.
The 3-0 victory in the National League was Maidenhead's first league win since Boxing Day.
"We played at a tempo that suits us," Devonshire told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Adam Whitty. "We're not the best at slowing games down...I felt we did that in the first half.
"We blew the game away really, the game was over at half-time."
And Devonshire is now pleased to have a run of fixtures with just one game per week, instead of two.
"Us playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday, takes more out of us playing part-time [than the full-time clubs in the league].
"I've always said...Saturday, Saturday we'd be fine."
