'My dream is to play Test cricket for England' - Jofra Archer

Jofra Archer, the Barbados-born all-rounder, has caught the eye after being snapped up to play in the Indian Premier League.

The 22-year-old, who has recently impressed in the Big Bash and has played for English side Sussex since 2016, is a suddenly a man in demand. And he could play for West Indies or potentially, England.

Under ECB rules, Archer, who has an English father and British passport, is not eligible to play for England until the winter of 2022, when he will have completed the seven-year residency period required for players who arrive in England after their 18th birthday.

Despite that long process, Archer tells Stumped why he wants to go down that route.
