Three women tackle their city's opioid epidemic
Refusing to be defined by the opioid epidemic sweeping their town of Huntington, West Virginia, three women try to break the cycle of drug abuse. Filmmaker Elaine McMillion Sheldon shows a different side of the fight against drugs, using hope and compassion in her Oscar-nominated, short documentary Heroin(e). Roger Hearing asks Elaine why she felt driven to tell the story of these brave women.
