Rowing: Gammond not enjoying the cold weather training
British Rowing athlete Fiona Gammond explains how tough the winter training can be at their Caversham training base.
As temperatures plummet to near freezing, Gammond is hoping for warmer weather soon.
鈥淵esterday was pretty cold,鈥 Gammond told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire鈥檚 Tim Dellor. 鈥淭he worst is when your hands, after a lap of the lake, they really get quite cold.
鈥淭hen suddenly they start getting really hot!鈥
But Gammond has one way of warming up after the cold morning鈥檚 training.
鈥淭he food [here is] absolutely amazing, it鈥檚 fantastic.
鈥淚 always eat up there, it鈥檚 amazing.鈥
