Maidenhead United: Smith not getting carried away
Maidenhead midfielder Christian Smith is relaxed as Magpies near National League safety.
Despite losing to Torquay in their last match 2-1, Maidenhead remain on 41 points and in 15th in the league table.
"I just see it as one game at a time," Smith told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Adam Whitty. "The target's there...to be honest we've not really spoken about it.
"As players, we believe in just taking each game as it comes, and try and get as many points as we can."
And Smith has noticed a difference in the sides they play who are in the relegation zone, as opposed to sides who are higher up the table.
"They're nervous to start with, they do try and start fast.
"Unlike some teams at the top, there's less football played."
