McClaren: Pogba is no special case for Mourinho
Former England manager and Manchester United assistant Steve McClaren has told 5 live that United boss Jose Mourinho is right not to give Paul Pogba special treatment.
Pogba was substituted during United's loss to Tottenham at the end of January and has not completed 90 minutes since. He missed the 2-0 FA Cup win over Huddersfield due to illness.
Speaking on Breakfast McClaren said: "Why should he treat him any different because he's £89m than somebody who's £5m? [Mourinho's] job is to get the best out of them. If they are not doing it, then he won't be happy, the player won't be happy, they won't play and that's the power the manager's got."
