The dangers of getting old in Kenya

Kenya is a country which has many traditions for caring for the elderly. But, like many nations, those traditions are being eroded by modern life. With the number of elderly expected to quadruple over the next few decades, Newsday's Alan Kasujja went to meet some elderly Kenyans in a village near Embu in Eastern Kenya to hear about their experiences. You may find some of this interview distressing.
