Maidenhead United: "I've never had a defeat like that"
´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Adam Whitty spoke to the Maidenhead United boss after his side's 7-1 defeat in the North East at the hands of Gateshead.
The result leaves them 13th in the National League.
Alan Devonshire, Maidenhead United Manager:
"I felt we gave up, I've never had that before in my life. People stopped running around and doing their jobs, it is a reality check for us.
"I don't think any of the boys can come out with any credit, because we defend as a whole team.
"I feel for the fans who traveled up, and all I can do is apologise for that.
"They [the players] have to look at themselves...the goals were down to individual errors."
