The new Reading FC manager Paul Clement is looking forward to his new role in Berkshire.

Clement was appointed as Jaap Stam's successor with eight games of the Championship season left.

"I'll be giving my everything to get the team prepared, get them confident," Clement told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams. "Belief, confidence, positivity are all important things.

"I think these are things that have been damaged.

"You can get in a bit of a cycle where you don't even know where the next point is coming from."

And Clement has given an insight into the style of play his team will display.

"I always try and get balance in my teams that I work with," he added.

"Good attacking team, try and be solid and organised defensively... just to give us the best chance of winning."
