The forces accessing phone data without a warrant
At least 26 police forces in England and Wales have begun using new technology to extract data from phones - which includes photographs, deleted text messages, locations and internet searches.
There's currently no law or national guidance to say they need a warrant, so one privacy campaign group is calling for a change.
