Callum & Rense: Being The New Guy
Starting a new job somewhere unfamiliar can be daunting enough but joining a small team at a remote and isolated site has its own challenges.
Stretching across the Humber Estuary, Spurn is a long spit of land on the East Yorkshire coast that is frequently cut off by the tide and home to the RNLI's only full time lifeboat crew.
Recorded in the Listening Project booth on site outside the lifeboat station, the newest members of red watch discuss fitting in and adjusting to life on Spurn.
