Why choir practice made me want to lose my accent
Bostonians are known for having a distinctive accent, notoriously devoid of the 鈥渞鈥欌�� sound. When novelist Louie Cronin was in high school she decided to try to lose that accent. She tells Carol Hills about the exact moment she made that decision.
