Life after losing a loved one to street violence
Two families affected by London's growing violent crime have been speaking to the 大象传媒 about the devastating impact it has had on their lives.
Dami Odeyingbo wanted to go to university to study Cyber security. He left school with good grades and was loved by his three younger brothers. But just days before his 19th birthday, he was killed.
So, too, was Julian Joseph who according to his family "kept himself to himself and was never associated with gangs or violence". He died just two weeks ago.
