James frontman Tim Booth talks to Clare Crane about their new EP Better Than That
James have announced the release of a new EP called Better Than That.
It has four tracks on it and was produced by Mercury and Brit Award winner Charlie Andrew who has previously worked with alt-J and Wolf Alice.
It will be released on Friday 18th May in full but the band have shared lead track also called Better Than That which we have been playing on 6 Music. The remaining EP tracks Busted, Hank and Broken By The Hurt will be released every second Wednesday from 4th April through to 16th May
The release will be the first new music since their 2016 album Girl at the End of the World - which was their highest debut entry in nearly twenty years, reaching number two.
