Windrush Kids told: Don't approach Home Office
Some long-term immigrants who arrived from the Commonwealth as children, who have been told they are in the UK illegally, have been advised not to approach the Home Office by the high commissioner for Barbados.
Guy Hewitt said the 'Windrush Kids' who went to schools in Britain and paid their taxes are "being treated as illegal immigrants" and "being shut out of the system" with some deported or sent to detention centres.
