Corrie star: ‘Amazing response’ to OCD storyline
If you’ve been watching Coronation Street lately you will have seen the character Craig Tinker struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). It's a condition that affects 1-2% of the population and has been labelled as one of the most disabling illnesses by the World Health Organisation.
Actor Colson Smith, who plays Craig, said he’s had an “amazing response” to the storyline.
He told ý Radio 5 live’s Tony Livesey that he’s “really proud” and hopes the show has “done its bit to stop the stigma and raise awareness for OCD”.
