MPs call for end to use of surgical mesh
MPs have called for the use of surgical mesh to be halted, telling horrific stories of the injuries suffered by some women.
In the first debate held on the issue in the Commons chamber - as Kristiina Cooper reports - MPs also said medical devices should be tested as rigorously as drugs.
