Ronald and Iskandar were child soldiers during the Indonesian religious conflict of 1999. Hundreds of child militants are believed to have taken part. When the worst of the killings ended three years later, the children who had wanted to kill each other were left living in deeply divided communities. Ronald and Iskandar made the incredible journey from being killers to peacemakers and developed a unique friendship
