Meltdowns and tantrums
Sergio Garcia hurls his driver - but is club throwing an art?
The Cut comes this week from Carnoustie, home of this year's Open and one of the most memorable sporting meltdowns in history. In the week that Sergio Garcia has to fetch his club from the bushes, Andrew and Iain recall some of the sport's greatest tantrums and meltdowns, including Jean van de Velde's epic capitulation at this venue almost 20 years ago. At least we remember him - but what about the others who didn't quite make it? Costantino Rocca relives his near miss at St Andrews in 1995. And could Thomas Bjorn be ready to add some French flair to his Ryder Cup team?
