Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler says manager Jurgen Klopp is the perfect fit at Anfield.

Liverpool are bidding to reach a first Champions League final since 2007 following a 5-2 victory over Roma in the first leg of their semi-final at Anfield.

"He knows what the fans are about. He knows what the city is about. He knows what the club’s about. He’s actually perfect for Liverpool," said Fowler, who scored 128 Premier League goals across two spells with Liverpool.
