Liverpool鈥檚 Mohamed Salah is comparable to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on current form, according to Robbie Savage.

The Egypt forward scored his 42nd and 43rd goals of a remarkable debut season at Anfield in the Reds鈥� 5-2 Champions League semi-final first leg victory against Roma.

Former Wales midfielder Savage compared the 25-year-old鈥檚 form to that of Messi and Ronaldo, acknowledged as two of the game鈥檚 leading current players.

鈥淗is impact on games in one of the toughest leagues in the world and now in the Champions League 鈥� you鈥檝e got to say, on current form he鈥檚 certainly up there with those two,鈥� he said.
