Selling Wembley might be the beginning of the end for the FA - Townsend
Former Republic of Ireland midfielder Andy Townsend says if the Football Association did sell Wembley, it could spell the beginning of the end for the organisation.
English football's governing body has confirmed it has received an offer from Fulham owner Shahid Khan to buy the national stadium.
And Townsend believes, if the sale goes through, it could lead to a major change in how football in the country is governed.
