Lavatories for all within twenty years?
International organisations put a great deal of focus on lofty goals like reducing maternal or infant mortality. One of the practical matters blocking progress is the lack of access to proper, clean toilets. A third of the world's population has no access to a lavatory. Now, the non-profit body, the World Toilet Organisation, says it believes that - in the next twenty years - everyone will have one. Alex Ritson met the founder, Jack Sim, at the Horasis Global Meeting in Portugal.
