MPs call for new law on puppy sales
The government is under growing pressure to ban the sale of puppies by pet shops and third party dealers in England.
More than a hundred and forty thousand people have signed a petition on Parliament's website, triggering a debate in Westminster Hall - where there was strong support for the idea and some graphic descriptions of cruelty to animals.
