What is the deadly Nipah virus?
An unprecedented outbreak of a virus has killed 10 people, including a nurse, in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It is called Nipah, and it is a rare virus spread by fruit bats. Dr Sanjeev Singh from the Kochi School of Medicine has been treating some of those infected.
