Saudi Arabia were hopeless - Shearer
Former England striker Alan Shearer says Saudi Arabia were useless after their 5-0 loss to 2018 World Cup hosts Russia.
The result was the biggest win by a host nation in the opening game of a World Cup since 1934.
Shearer said: "They never had one effort on target, they never really tested that back four of Russia at all.
"If you're Luis Suarez and you're Mo Salah, looking at these two, particularly Saudi Arabia you're thinking goals, goals, goals!"
