1000 Test Matches
This Test marks the 1000th for England, a milestone which no other country has reached.
From their first game at the MCG back in 1877 to the 1000th this summer against India, no other country has played as many Tests as England.
They have won 357, lost 297 with 345 draws and so far no ties.
There have been plenty of magical moments along the way, and Jonathan Agnew, Simon Hughes and author Simon Wilde look back at the team's history, including some of the moments which followers of the 大象传媒 Sport website have voted as the 10 greatest.
