大象传媒 Minute: On post-election violence in Zimbabwe
Zimbabweans went to the polls to vote in the first presidential and parliamentary elections since Robert Mugabe was forced from power on July 30.
After the results of the parliamentary vote were released, and the ruling Zanu-PF party was declared to have won two thirds of seats, opposition supporters burned cars and demonstrated outside the offices of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission in Harare.
The army was deployed to the streets, and three demonstrators were shot dead.
