´óÏó´«Ã½ Minute: On how young Iranians will be affected by sanctions
The United States government has imposed new sanctions on Iran – after withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, otherwise known as the Iran nuclear deal. The measures are designed to restrict Iranian imports of metals and software used in industrial processes, and prevent Iran’s government from acquiring US dollars.
Iran’s president, Hassan Rouhani, has accused the United States of waging psychological warfare against his country. Saeedeh Hashemi from the ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s Persian service tells us how the sanctions will hit young people in Iran.
